We may also receive correspondence sent by email, telephone or WhatsApp, plus limited technical information such as IP address, browser, device, page interactions, cookies and server logs.

3. How we collect it

Information is collected when you submit a form, contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, request or accept a quotation, and when essential website technology records technical data.

4. Why we use personal information

  • To confirm products, sizes, quantities, standards, prices, availability and fulfilment arrangements.
  • To communicate about an enquiry, quotation or order.
  • To maintain business, accounting, security and legal records.
  • To improve and protect the website and our services.
  • To comply with applicable law.

5. Lawful processing

We process personal information with consent, when necessary to take steps requested before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, to meet legal obligations, or for legitimate business interests that do not unfairly override your rights.

6. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with hosting and technology providers, suppliers or fulfilment partners, professional advisers and public authorities where required by law. Service providers are expected to protect the information they process for us.

7. Cross-border processing

Some service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards that offer appropriate protection.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected and for applicable operational, tax, accounting, dispute and legal requirements. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where reasonably possible.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to personal information, request a correction or deletion, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or ask how your information has been used. Contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Direct marketing

We will send direct marketing only where permitted. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe method in the message or contacting us.

This website is intended for businesses and working professionals and is not directed at children under 18.

13. Third-party services

Links to services such as WhatsApp are governed by those providers’ own privacy terms. We encourage you to review them before sharing information.

14. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator South Africa. The regulator lists popiacomplaints@inforegulator.org.za for POPIA complaints and publishes current contact details on its website.
